Feline hepatic lipidosis, commonly known as fatty liver disease, is a serious, life-threatening metabolic condition where fat builds up rapidly in a cat's liver cells. Often triggered by a period of decreased appetite, this condition requires prompt veterinary intervention. Fortunately, with early diagnosis and aggressive, long-term nutritional support, the disease is highly reversible, and most cats can make a full recovery.

الأسباب وعوامل الخطر
فقدان شهية (مرض، توتر)، سمنة سابقة، سكري، التهاب بنكرياس. خطر عالٍ في القطط زائدة الوزن التي تتوقف عن الأكل.
علامات
- أساسية: فقدان شهية، يرقان، خمول
- شائعة: قيء، فقدان وزن، جفاف
- أحيانًا: علامات عصبية، ضعف عضلي
اصفرار الأذنين والأغشية علامة أساسية.
التشخيص
قصة مرضية، تحاليل، موجات فوق صوتية، وغالبًا فحص خلوي للكبد.
الموجات فوق الصوتية: كبد لامع من الدهون.
العلاج
- تغذية مساعدة مبكرة (أنبوب)
- سوائل وكهارل
- مضادات قيء ودعم؛ علاج سبب فقدان الشهية
المآل
أفضل مع تغذية مبكرة؛ بلا دعم سيئ.
الوقاية
تجنب الصيام في القطط زائدة الوزن؛ عالج فقدان الشهية مبكرًا.
متى تتصل بالطبيب البيطري
طارئ: قطة لا تأكل 24-48 ساعة، يرقان، قيء، ضعف شديد.
