Cutaneous Lymphoma
Cutaneous lymphoma
Znana też jako: Epitheliotropic Lymphoma, Nonepitheliotropic Lymphoma, Mycosis Fungoides, Cutaneous Lymphosarcoma
W skrócie
Cutaneous lymphoma is an uncommon but serious skin cancer in dogs and cats where abnormal white blood cells accumulate in the skin, causing persistent redness, scaling, hair loss, or lumps that can easily be mistaken for chronic allergies.

TL;DR. Nieczęsty, ale poważny nowotwór skóry: nieprawidłowe limfocyty w skórze z zaczerwienieniem, łuszczeniem, łysieniem lub guzkami; często mylony z alergią.
Rozległe łysienie, zaczerwienienie i łuszczenie mogą naśladować alergie.
Co to jest?
Złośliwe limfocyty w skórze. Epitheliotropowy (często T, naskórek/jama ustna) vs nieepitheliotropowy (B/T, guzki skórne/podskórne).
"Nonepitheliotropic lymphoma is a malignant neoplasm that may arise from B or T lymphocytes. It is uncommon in dogs and cats, with highest incidence in older animals. Usually, nonepitheliotropic lymphoma appears as multiple, firm,"
Przyczyny i czynniki ryzyka
Przyczyna niejasna. Wiek zwiększa ryzyko. Rasy: Boxers, Scottish Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Rottweilers.
Objawy
- Częste: świąd, łuszczenie, blaszki/guzki, rumień, alopecia
- Okazjonalne: hiperkeratoza opuszek, owrzodzenia jamy ustnej, depigmentacja śluzówkowo-skórna, limfadenomegalia

Możliwa depigmentacja i owrzodzenia śluzówkowo-skórne.
Diagnostyka
FNA ograniczone; biopsja/histopatologia złoty standard. Staging: krew, USG, RTG klatki, FNA węzłów.
"Distinguishing these requires a biopsy sample to assess the tissue distribution of lymphocytes in relation to the epidermis, and this cannot be done with cytological samples."
Leczenie
Ogólnoustrojowe: COP Chemotherapy Protocol. Wsparcie: antybiotyki/przeciwgrzybicze, kąpiele lecznicze, analgezja.
Rokowanie
Wolno postępujące, wyleczenie rzadkie. Epitheliotropowy często wolniejszy; nieepitheliotropowy często agresywniejszy/systemowy wcześniej.
Profilaktyka
Brak potwierdzonej profilaktyki. Wczesna biopsja w opornej dermatozie.
Kiedy dzwonić do weterynarza
