Intussusception is a life-threatening veterinary emergency where one segment of the intestine telescopes into another, causing a severe blockage and cutting off blood flow. Prompt surgical intervention is typically required to save the animal's life.

ما هو؟

الأسباب وعوامل الخطر
طفيليات، بارفو، أجسام غريبة، التهاب معدة وأمعاء، أورام. استعداد: الراعي الألماني، لابرادودل، غولدن ريتريفر؛ أكثر في الصغار.
علامات
- قيء
- ألم بطني
- إسهال دموي شحيح
- كتلة محسوسة بشكل سجق
- فقدان شهية، كآبة
ألم بطني شديد وبطن مشدود نموذجي.
التشخيص
جس، موجات صوتية (شكل هدف)، أشعة، حقنة تباين أو تنظير قولون. فتح بطن استكشافي.
العلاج
جراحة: رد إن كان حياً، وإلا استئصال ومفاغرة. سوائل، تسكين، مضادات حيوية.
المآل
غالباً جيد مع جراحة مبكرة بلا التهاب صفاق.
الوقاية
مكافحة طفيليات، تلقيح، تغيير غذاء تدريجي، تجنب أجسام قابلة للبلع.
متى تتصل بالبيطري
فوراً عند قيء مستمر، ألم بطني شديد، براز دموي شحيح أو انهيار.
