Pyoderma is a common bacterial skin infection in dogs, ranging from superficial surface irritations to painful, deep tissue infections. Because it is almost always triggered by an underlying condition like allergies or hormonal imbalances, successful treatment requires both targeted antibiotics and addressing the root cause.

ما هي؟
عدوى بكتيرية جلدية شبه دائما ثانوية. سطحية: البشرة/الجريبات؛ عميقة: الأدمة والمسالك الناسورية.
الأسباب وعوامل الخطر
أتوبي، براغيث، حساسية طعام، ديموديكس، قصور درق، فرط قشر كظر، رضح، نظافة سيئة. الطيات والفراء الكثيف يرفعان الخطر.
العلامات
- حطاطات، بثرات، قشور (شائعة)
- طوق بشري دائري (شائع)
- حكة، ثعلبة، رائحة (شائعة)
- عميقة: عقد، نواسير، ألم (أحيانا)
القشور والثعلبة الرقعية تميز الشكل السطحي.
التشخيص
فحص خلوي (عدلات +/- بكتيريا داخل الخلايا). كشطات؛ زرع للعميق أو غير المستجيب؛ ابحث عن السبب الأساسي.
العلاج
قص وتنظيف؛ مضادات حيوية موضعية و/أو جهازية حسب الخلوي/الزرع. عالج الحساسية والطفيليات أو الغدد. تجنب دورات قصيرة أو جرعات ناقصة.
المآل
جيد عند السيطرة على السبب. نكس دون إدارة الحساسية/الغدد.
الوقاية
مكافحة الطفيليات؛ إدارة الحساسية؛ طيات جافة نظيفة؛ بلا مضادات حيوية بلا داع.
متى تتصل
قشور جديدة أو منتشرة، رائحة، ألم أو حمى. طوارئ مع خمول أو فقدان شهية أو تورم عميق سريع.
