Příznaky
- Hyperemie okraje gingivy (kardinalni)

Jak diagnostikují veterináři
Vysetreni vzhuru omezeno. V anestezii: sondaz a oralni RTG (zlaty standard).
Možnosti léčby
Profesionalni cisteni (COHAT): scaling, lesteni, extrakce. Podpurna antibiotika: Amoxicillin, Clindamycin, Metronidazole (nenahrazuji cisteni).
Prognóza
Dobra s peci; celozivotne chronicke; ztracena kost se nevraci.
Prevence
Denni kartacovani pastou pro zvirata, VOHC produkty, rocni kontroly.
Kdy volat veterináře
Navsteva pri zapachu z tlamy nebo cervenych dasnich. Urgentni: neji, silne krvaceni, otok pod okem, extremni bolest.
U konkrétních plemen
Toy a <20 lb; Greyhound: vcasny zubni dohled a prisne kartacovani.
