- أحياناً: فقر دم إستروجيني، فقدان عضلي

كيف يشخص الأطباء البيطريون
فحص + نمط الصلع. موجات فوق صوتية بطنية (المعيار الذهبي). لوحة هرمونات جنسية كظرية.
خيارات العلاج
استئصال كظر (مثاليًا شافٍ). طبي: ليوبروليد، ميلاتونين؛ أحياناً ميتوتان. طوارئ بولية في الذكور.
المآل
ممتاز مع جراحة ناجحة أو سيطرة طبية طويلة. بلا علاج: سيئ.
الوقاية
زرعات ميلاتونين في بعض البروتوكولات؛ دورة ضوء-ظلام طبيعية؛ فحوصات غريبة دورية.
متى تتصل بالطبيب البيطري
طارئ: ذكر يجهد للتبول؛ ضعف شديد/أغشية شاحبة؛ ألم بطني شديد أو فقدان شهية تام.
