アミトラズは重度のダニ感染症を治療するための強力な薬です。使用時は必ずゴム手袋を着用し、使用後は手をよく洗ってください。薬浴後、ペットが24〜72時間ほど非常に眠そうにすることがありますが、これは一般的な副作用です。暖かく静かに過ごさせてください。もしペットが目を覚まさない場合や、3日以上眠気が続く場合は、すぐに獣医師に連絡してください。猫やウサギには絶対に近づけないでください。
用量はペットの状態に応じて獣医師が決定します。獣医師の指導なしに人用医薬品や他のペットの処方薬を与えないでください。

- Ataxia
- Bradycardia
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Hypothermia
- Transient hyperglycemia
- Pruritus, erythema, and edema at application site
- Seizures (rare)
注意事項と禁忌
- Cats and rabbits (highly toxic, though extra-label protocols exist)
- Chihuahuas and toy breeds (use with extreme caution)
- Puppies less than 4 months of age
- Dogs with deep pyodermas and draining tracts (treat infection first)
- Brittle diabetic patients
- Pregnant or nursing animals
- > **Safety Warning:** Liquid concentrates are flammable until diluted. * Clients must wear rubber gloves when mixing and applying. * Wash hands and arms thoroughly after application. * Do not stress animals for at least 24 hours post-application. * Use ophthalmic protectants (e.g., petrolatum ointment) if treating near the eyes. * Dispose of unused diluted solution by flushing down the drain and do not reuse containers.
薬物相互作用
- Corticosteroids: Immunosuppression can worsen demodicosis; concomitant use is contraindicated.
- Selegiline: Concurrent use of MAO inhibitors increases risk of toxicity.
- Amitriptyline: Concurrent use with tricyclic antidepressants is not recommended.
- Clomipramine: Concurrent use with tricyclic antidepressants is not recommended.
- Alpha-2 agonist sedatives (e.g., dexmedetomidine, xylazine): Additive or synergistic CNS depression and cardiovascular effects (bradycardia).
- Other ectoparasiticides: Potential for increased toxicity.
