Dermatophytosis, commonly known as ringworm, is a highly contagious fungal skin infection in guinea pigs. While zoonotic and easily spread to humans, it is highly treatable with veterinary-prescribed antifungals and thorough environmental cleaning.

ما هو؟
عدوى سطحية للجلد وبصيلات الشعر بالفطريات الجلدية. في خنازير غينيا يسود Trichophyton mentagrophytes. الأبواغ تهضم الكيراتين فتتكسر الشعرات وتظهر بقع صلعاء متقشرة. خطر انتقال للإنسان.
الأسباب وعوامل الخطر
تماس مباشر أو أدوات ملوثة (فرشة، قفص، فرش). يزيد الخطر الإجهاد والرطوبة وصغار/حوامل/مرضى وصدمات جلدية دقيقة.
علامات للمراقبة
- صلع مع قشور/قشور جافة (أساسي) غالباً على الوجه
- شعر مكسور واحمرار وبثور (شائع)
- حكة متباينة (غالباً خفيفة)
- حاملون بلا أعراض (أحياناً)
القشور الجافة والشعر الهش كلاسيكية.
كيف يشخص الأطباء البيطريون
استبعاد الحلم والتهاب الجلد البكتيري. مصباح وود غالباً سلبي. فحص الشعر، زرع/PCR فطري.
خيارات العلاج
مضادات فطرية جهازية و/أو موضعية بوصفة، عزل، تنظيف بيئي مكثف، فحص المخالطين.
المآل
جيد مع علاج ونظافة كاملين؛ انتكاس إن بقيت أبواغ أو حاملون.
الوقاية
حجر صحي للجدد، بيئة جافة نظيفة، تقليل الإجهاد، نظافة اليدين.
متى تتصل بالطبيب البيطري
موعد عند صلع متقشر. عاجل إن انتشر بسرعة أو توقف الأكل أو ظهرت إصابات بشرية.
