Any Hong Kong vet may draw the blood, but testing must be at a WOAH or APHIA-designated laboratory abroad (commonly Kansas State; allow 3 to 6 weeks). Keep the original result consistent with the chip and permit.

Free at pet-epermit.aphia.gov.tw. Approval auto-reserves the quarantine cage and fixes a narrow arrival window (about 3 days); one date/port change only, filed 10 days ahead. Submission is not approval.

AFCD-certified veterinary certificate
A Hong Kong registered vet completes the APHIA Form 002 template; AFCD at Cheung Sha Wan certifies or endorses it in 1 to 2 working days (HK$155 to HK$410). It is valid 10 days from issue; carry the original.

Arrival inspection, then 7-day quarantine unless waived
Present the permit, original AFCD certificate and customs declaration or air waybill. Bring NT$ cash: NT$100 processing plus escort and quarantine fees (about NT$6,625 for 7 days at Guanyin). No escort service on weekends or holidays.
