使用用途

• Pruritic inflammatory skin disease
• Otitis externa
• General

投与方法

考えられる副作用

• Epidermal atrophy (with protracted use)
• Aural erythema (otic preparation)
• Transient hearing loss in geriatric dogs (rare, otic preparation)
• Transient local erythema
• Skin thinning or atrophy (rare, usually only with prolonged use)
• Delayed wound healing
• Systemic glucocorticoid effects (extremely rare due to rapid metabolism)

注意事項と禁忌

• Ulcerated skin
• Perforated tympanic membrane (ear drum)
• Cutaneous ulcers
• Known hypersensitivity to corticosteroids
• Concurrent systemic viral or fungal infections
• Use on large surface areas for prolonged periods without veterinary supervision
• > **Do not use on ulcerated skin** or if the **ear drum is perforated**. * **Growth Warning:** Use with caution in dogs <7 months old, as glucocorticoids are known to slow growth. * **Surface Area Limits:** The total body surface treated should not exceed a surface corresponding to a treatment of two flanks (from the spine to the mammary chains, including shoulders and thighs). * **Infections:** Microbial infections should be treated appropriately prior to use. * **Monitoring:** Patients should be monitored appropriately during long-term use to watch for epidermal atrophy or systemic absorption.
