Apply the spot-on solution directly to the skin. **Do not use the dog product (which contains permethrin) on cats**, as it is highly toxic to them. The product kills adult fleas and developing stages in the environment. Ticks already on the pet may take up to 48 hours to die. Wash hands after application and avoid allowing pets to swim immediately after application to protect aquatic life.
Dosage must be set by your veterinarian for your specific pet. Never give human medication or another pet’s prescription without veterinary guidance.
