This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Petiva mobile application and related Petiva club services. It applies to member-facing Petiva services and does not replace the separate policies for the Peqaboo consumer platform.
PETIVA & CO. LIMITED provides the Petiva premium pet club service. DECENNIUM PLATFORMS LIMITED develops and operates technical services for Petiva as its technology and service provider. In this policy, “Petiva”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the relevant party handling your information for the purpose described.
We obtain information directly from you, an authorised member or carer, Petiva staff acting on your request, participating veterinary or service partners, your device and the technical systems used to provide Petiva. Please only provide another person’s information if you are authorised to do so.
We do not sell personal data and do not use Petiva health or care information for third-party behavioural advertising.
When you choose an AI-assisted feature, relevant text, images, documents and pet context may be processed using protected cloud services, including Google Cloud, Vertex AI and Gemini services, to generate the requested result. AI output may be incomplete or wrong. It is for support and organisation only, is not a veterinary diagnosis or emergency service, and must not replace advice from a qualified veterinary professional. For urgent concerns, contact a veterinarian or emergency provider directly.
We disclose only what is reasonably needed for the relevant purpose:
Petiva members must not use the app to upload another person’s confidential information without authority.
Service providers may process information outside Hong Kong. Where this occurs, we use contractual, organisational and technical measures appropriate to the information and applicable law. Different jurisdictions may have different data-protection rules.
We use access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, logging, service-provider controls and other administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide Petiva, maintain an accurate care or service history, meet legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Retention periods vary by category. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, unless we must retain a limited record for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety or dispute purposes. Backup copies may take additional time to expire through normal secure rotation.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw optional consent, object to certain processing, receive information about our handling of your data, or request deletion. You can manage notification and location permissions in your device settings. Withdrawing a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
You may request deletion through the Petiva app where that option is available or through our public Petiva account deletion page. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Deleting the app from a device does not delete the account. We will delete or de-identify associated information unless limited retention is permitted or required for legal, payment, security, veterinary-record, safety or dispute reasons. Information held by a service provider on our behalf is included in the deletion process, subject to the same lawful exceptions.
Petiva is intended for adult members and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly ask a child to create a Petiva membership account. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authority, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy as Petiva develops or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy at this URL, update the effective date and provide an in-app or other prominent notice where a change is material.
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or concerns about Petiva, email hello@decennium.app and put “Petiva Privacy Request” in the subject. You may also contact Petiva through the in-app concierge. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and protect the member account.

服務供應商可能在香港以外處理資料。遇有跨境處理時,我們會按資料性質及適用法律採取合適的合約、組織及技術措施。不同司法管轄區的資料保障規則可能有所不同。
我們採用存取控制、身分驗證、傳輸加密、日誌、供應商控制,以及其他行政及技術措施保障資料。任何服務均不能保證絕對安全。請妥善保管登入資料;如懷疑未經授權存取,請立即通知我們。
我們只在提供 Petiva、保存準確照護或服務歷史、履行法律及財務責任、處理爭議和保障服務所合理需要的期間保留資料。不同資料的期限會有所不同。資料不再需要時,我們會刪除或去識別化,惟法律、會計、防止欺詐、安全或爭議用途容許或要求保留有限紀錄者除外。備份副本可能需要額外時間,才會按正常安全輪替程序到期。
在適用法律規限下,您可要求查閱或改正個人資料、撤回非必要同意、反對某些處理、了解資料處理方式或要求刪除。您可在裝置設定管理通知及位置權限;撤回權限可能令相關功能無法使用。
您可在支援此功能的 Petiva 應用程式版本內提出刪除要求,或使用公開的 Petiva 帳戶刪除頁面。我們可能先核實您的身分及權限。只從裝置移除應用程式並不等於刪除帳戶。我們會刪除或去識別相關資料,惟法律、付款、保安、獸醫紀錄、安全或爭議用途容許或要求保留有限資料者除外。代表我們持有資料的服務供應商亦包括在刪除流程內,並受同樣合法例外規限。
Petiva 供成年會員使用,並非面向 18 歲以下人士。我們不會蓄意要求兒童建立 Petiva 會籍帳戶。如您認為兒童在沒有適當授權下提供個人資料,請聯絡我們調查及採取適當行動。
我們可因 Petiva 發展或法律要求而更新本政策。我們會在此網址發布修訂版本、更新生效日期,並在重大改動時透過應用程式或其他顯著方式通知您。
