Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Peqaboo.

Welcome to Peqaboo.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Decennium Platforms Limited ("Peqaboo," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR, governing your access to and use of the Peqaboo mobile application, website (peqaboo.
com), and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform.
If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to request proof of age or parental consent at any time.
2. Account Registration & Security
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date registration information
promptly update your information if it changes
notify us immediately at hello@decennium.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account; and
not share your account credentials with any third party. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section
3. Platform Services
Peqaboo is a pet technology and community platform that provides, among other features:
- AI-powered pet health triage and symptom analysis (BooAI)
- AI gait analysis for detecting mobility issues
- Veterinary bill detection and verification
- Lab report analysis and interpretation
- Pet profile management with health records
- Community features including topics, posts, and social interactions
- BooMap for discovering pet-friendly places and veterinary clinics
- BooApp mini-application platform for third-party developers
- VetSheet and VetCRM tools for veterinary professionals
Important Notice
The AI-powered features on Peqaboo, including BooAI, gait analysis, bill detection, and lab report analysis, are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They do NOT constitute veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian for any questions regarding your pet's health. Never disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the Platform. In case of a pet emergency, contact your veterinarian or local animal emergency service immediately.
4. AI Pet Health Services
Peqaboo offers AI-powered tools designed to support — but never replace — professional veterinary care. By using these services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
BooAI Triage Chat
Provides general health guidance based on symptoms you describe. Results are probabilistic assessments, not diagnoses. Accuracy depends on the quality and completeness of information you provide.
Gait Analysis
Uses video-based AI to detect potential mobility abnormalities. This tool may not detect all conditions and results should be confirmed by a veterinarian.
Bill Detection
Helps identify potential billing discrepancies in veterinary invoices. Peqaboo does not guarantee the accuracy of bill analysis and is not responsible for any disputes between you and your veterinary provider.
Lab Report Analysis
Interprets uploaded lab results to highlight values outside normal ranges. Normal ranges may vary by species, breed, age, and laboratory. Always discuss results with your veterinarian.
AI Portraits
Generates artistic images of your pet using AI. These images are for entertainment purposes only.
No Emergency Use
The Platform is NOT designed for pet emergencies. In any emergency, contact your veterinarian or local animal emergency hospital immediately.
Data Processing
Images, videos, and text you submit for AI analysis are processed by third-party AI models (including but not limited to models by Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google). Submitted data may be used to improve the accuracy of our services, but will not be sold to third parties.
5. Pet Profiles & Health Records
Pet profiles are central to the Peqaboo experience. You may create profiles for pets you own or legally care for, including information such as name, species, breed, date of birth, weight, medical history, vaccination records, and photos.
Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring pet profile information is accurate and up to date. Inaccurate health data may lead to unreliable AI analysis results.
Ownership
Only create profiles for pets you own or are the authorised caretaker of. Do not create fake pet profiles or profiles for pets belonging to others without their consent.
Privacy
Pet health records are private by default. They are only shared when you explicitly authorise it — for example, when sharing with a veterinarian via VetSheet or when a BooApp requests access with your permission.
Data Sharing with Vets
When you share health records with a veterinary professional through VetSheet, the vet receives a read-only snapshot. You can revoke access at any time.
Deceased Pets
You may maintain profiles for deceased pets as memorials. These profiles will be clearly marked and will not be used for AI health analysis.
Multiple Owners
If multiple family members share a pet, each may link the pet to their account. The original profile creator retains primary control.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, post, or display on the Platform ("User Content"), including text, photos, videos, pet profiles, and reviews. By submitting User Content, you grant Peqaboo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and create derivative works of your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Platform. You represent and warrant that:
you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights; and
your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws. We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion, without prior notice
7. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation
- Use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, phishing attempts, or unsolicited commercial messages
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other users' accounts, or systems connected to the Platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's servers, networks, or infrastructure
- Scrape, data mine, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without our prior written consent
- Use the Platform to promote or facilitate animal abuse, neglect, or any activity harmful to animals
- Circumvent or manipulate our fees, billing, or payment processes
- Create multiple accounts for deceptive or abusive purposes
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to the Peqaboo name, logo, BooAI, BooMap, BooApp, VetSheet brand names, software, algorithms, text, graphics, images, audio, video, and user interface design — are the exclusive property of Decennium Platforms Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Platform without our prior written consent, except as permitted by these Terms.
9. BooApp Developer Platform
The BooApp Developer Platform allows registered developers to create, publish, and distribute mini-applications ("BooApps") that run within the Peqaboo mobile app. By using the Developer Platform, you additionally agree to the following:
Developer Registration
You must register as a developer through the Developer Console, provide accurate information, and maintain your developer profile.
API Usage
Access to native APIs is governed by the permission system. Your BooApp must only request permissions that are necessary for its functionality. Abuse of API access may result in immediate suspension.
Content Review
All BooApps are subject to review before publication. We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or remove any BooApp that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or our Review Guidelines.
User Data
BooApps that access user data (including pet profiles) must handle such data in compliance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. You must not collect, store, or transmit user data beyond what is necessary for your BooApp's stated purpose.
Sandboxing
BooApps run in isolated sandboxes. You must not attempt to bypass sandbox restrictions, access other BooApps' data, or interfere with the host application.
Revenue & Fees
We may introduce developer fees or revenue-sharing arrangements in the future. Any such changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.
Termination
We may revoke your developer access and remove your BooApps at any time if you violate these Terms or our developer policies.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.
486) of Hong Kong, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and other relevant data protection laws in the jurisdictions we serve.
11. Fees & Payments
Certain features of the Platform may require payment. All fees are stated in the applicable currency at the time of purchase. You agree to pay all charges incurred under your account. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (e.g.
, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details. Subscription services, if any, will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the applicable app store or payment provider.
12. Third-Party Services & Links
The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by Peqaboo, including but not limited to veterinary clinics, pet shops, and BooApps developed by third-party developers.
We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by those third parties' own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.
13. Disclaimers
Legal Notice
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEQABOO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. THE AI-POWERED FEATURES ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY CARE AND MAY PRODUCE INACCURATE RESULTS.
14. Limitation of Liability
Legal Notice
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DECENNIUM PLATFORMS LIMITED, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE PLATFORM; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM; OR (D) UNAUTHORISED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR HKD 500, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Decennium Platforms Limited and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
your use of the Platform
your User Content
your violation of these Terms; or
your violation of any rights of a third party
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:
your right to use the Platform immediately ceases
we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy; and
Sections 6 (User Content licence), 8 (Intellectual Property), 13 (Disclaimers), 14 (Limitation of Liability), 15 (Indemnification), and 18 (Governing Law) shall survive termination
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date.
For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at hello@decennium.app.
19. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Peqaboo
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign our rights and obligations
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Notices
We may send notices to you via email, in-app notification, or by posting on the Platform
