Catch mobility issues before they become serious
Record a short walking video and let our AI analyze your pet's gait for limping, stiffness, asymmetry, and other mobility concerns. Get a detailed report in under 30 seconds.
Simple 3-step process
How Gait Analysis works
Record a walking video
Film your pet walking for 10-15 seconds on a flat surface. Side view works best. Keep the leash slack and let them walk naturally.
AI analyzes the video
Our pose estimation engine tracks 17+ body keypoints per frame, calculating stride length, cadence, symmetry scores, and temporal motion patterns.
Get your detailed report
Receive a clear report with severity assessment, affected areas highlighted, skeleton overlay video, and actionable next steps — share it directly with your vet.

What our AI detects
Pose Estimation & Skeleton Tracking
Our AI maps 17+ anatomical keypoints on your pet's body in every video frame — joints, spine, paws, and head. The skeleton overlay lets you and your vet visually see exactly where movement is abnormal, with colour-coded severity indicators.

Symmetry Scoring & Stride Analysis
The AI computes left-right symmetry ratios, stride length consistency, cadence regularity, and weight-bearing distribution. Even subtle imbalances invisible to the naked eye are quantified with precise numerical scores, making it easy to track changes over time.

Progress Tracking & Comparison
Track your pet's mobility over weeks and months. Side-by-side video comparisons and trend charts show whether treatment is working, if a condition is improving, or if it's time to revisit the vet. Perfect for post-surgery recovery monitoring.
Best practices
Tips for the best results
Follow these simple guidelines for more accurate analysis.
Flat, even surface
Choose a flat, non-slippery surface like a hallway or sidewalk. Avoid grass, carpet, or uneven terrain.
Good lighting
Natural daylight or well-lit indoor spaces work best. Avoid backlighting or strong shadows.
Side view angle
Film from the side as your pet walks parallel to the camera. Front and rear angles can also help.
10-15 seconds
Keep leash slack and let your pet walk naturally for 10-15 seconds. Multiple strides give the AI more data.
Integrate gait data into your clinical workflow
Access pre-visit gait reports from pet owners through VetCRM. Compare historical analyses, review skeleton overlay videos, and use quantified symmetry scores to support orthopedic assessments — all before the pet walks into your clinic.

Currently dogs and cats. Our AI model is trained on thousands of gait samples across 200+ breeds. We're expanding to more species soon.
Both work well. A flat, well-lit surface gives the best results. Indoor hallways and outdoor sidewalks are ideal. Avoid grass or uneven terrain for the most accurate analysis.
10-15 seconds is ideal — enough for multiple stride cycles. The minimum is 3 seconds; the maximum is 90 seconds. Longer videos don't necessarily improve accuracy.
No — Gait Analysis is a screening and monitoring tool, not a diagnostic device. It helps you decide when to visit a specialist and gives your vet objective data to work with. Always follow professional veterinary advice.
