Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) is a highly targeted biological therapy used to stop itching associated with allergic skin disease in dogs. * It works by neutralizing the specific itch signal in your dog's body. * It is given as an injection at the veterinary clinic. * Relief from itching is usually seen within 24 hours and can last for 4 to 8 weeks. > Contact your veterinarian if the itching returns or if you notice any signs of an allergic reaction after the injection.
