This medication is a specialized antidote used to treat severe iron poisoning. * Your pet may need to be hospitalized for continuous monitoring and intravenous fluids. * **Do not be alarmed** if your pet's urine turns a reddish-orange color; this is a normal sign that the drug is successfully pulling iron out of the body.
